Donald Meeks

Donald Odell "Bo" Meeks, 67, of Bessemer City, passed away Sunday April 30, 2017, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 20, 1949, in York County, SC to the late Epsie Hill Meeks.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Lawson Meeks and George Meeks; sisters, Mamie Meeks and Bonnie Meeks.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years Betty Martin Meeks; daughter Pamela Greene and husband Rick of Grover; sons Donald "Bodie" Meeks, Jr. and wife Connie of Grover, Donald Franklin Meeks and wife Paula of Bessemer City, Elvis Odell Meeks and wife Amanda of Dallas; brother, Charles "Butch Meeks and wife Marlene of York, SC, Jesse Moss and wife Varnell of York, SC.

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday May 4, 2017 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with Rev. Ray Burnett and Rev. David Chapman officiating.

Donald's family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
