Donald Gunnon

Donald "Don" George Gunnon, 58, passed away on Wednesday November 8, 2017 while at home. He was born October 31, 1959 in Hennepin MN, to the late Richard and Evonne Durand Gunnon.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Gunnon; his nephew, Ronnie Earl Meredith.

Don was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved riding his Harley and spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 31 years, Linda Powis Gunnon; son, Josh Gunnon of the home; daughter, Julie Newton and son-in-law David of Gastonia; sister, Joyce Meredith and husband Ronnie of Cameron, NC; brother, Jim Gunnon of Lillington, NC; granddaughters, Kierra Mullinax and Ryleigh Newton; grandsons, Phoenix Allison and Damien Gunnon; his service dog/daughter, Harley Girl; five nieces; two nephews.

A Celebration of Don's Life will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday November 11, 2017 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.

His family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 prior to the service at the funeral home.
