DENNIS  BEAVER



Dennis Claude Beaver, 55, of Gastonia, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.  He was born December 16, 1956 in Gaston County.



He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Goins Beaver.



Dennis is survived by his father, Walter Beaver of Gastonia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Betty Beaver, Steven and Ruth Beaver all of Gastonia, Barry and Phyllis Beaver of Shelby; uncle and aunt, Emory and Sylvia Beaver; nephew, Tracy and Argerie Beaver and their children, Karson, Karmen, and Vincent, nephew, Chris and Christy Beaver and their children Sofie and Sadie; niece, Stephanie Ann Gardner.



Dennis loved his family and friends.   His interests included Braves baseball, Carolina basketball and his Trans Am.  He could not see with his eyes, but he could see with his heart.



A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City, with Rev. Ralph Carver officiating.



Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.



Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
