Casey Gursslin

Casey Stroup Gursslin, age 43, of Bessemer City passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at her residence. Born in Cleveland County, to the late Vernon and Linda Kay Arrowood Stroup.

Casey was a machinist who loved music, singing, and dancing. She even wrote a special song for her grandchild. She was a joy to be around and loved everyone.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Richard Gursslin, sons Bradley Gladden and Kenneth Smith; daughter Katherine Smith; brothers Quinton Stroup (Sherrie) and Jessie Stroup (Heather); sister Amy Foster (Steve); grandchild Brooklyn Hart; mother-in-law Nancy Gursslin; eleven nieces and nephews; along with a numerous number of great nieces and nephews.

Casey’s family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 11:45 am on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon in the Chapel with Chaplain Tim Cochran officiating. Cremation will follow and inurnment will be with the family
