Carol Ann Carswell, 53, passed away on Friday March 24, 2017. She was born on December 6, 1963 in Gaston County to Bobby C. Carswell and the late Joyce Ann Stinnett Carswell.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Dalton Gowan and wife Kacie, and Cheridan Pasour and husband Tyler, father Bobby C. Carswell; her sisters, Carmen C. and her husband, Pastor David Pittman of Candler, NC, and Candace Carswell Davis and husband Richard of Boiling Springs, NC; grandsons, Kooper and Karter Gowan; Aunt, Peggy Stinnett; father of the children Kevin Gowan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carol was a member of First Wesleyan Church of Bessemer City. She loved her grandkids, family, church and her cats Cassie and Abby.

Her funeral service will be held at 2 pm Monday, March 27th, 2017 at First Wesleyan Church of Bessemer City with the Rev Wes Brown, and the Rev. Mark Tolan officiating.

Interment will follow Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday at the Church in the Family Life Center.

The family requests that any memorials be made to the First Wesleyan Church Building Fund PO Box 682 Bessemer City, NC 28016.
