BRENDA HARRISON

Brenda Aretta Kelly Harrison, 74, of Mt. Holly, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, February 24, 2018. She was born June 27, 1943 in Gaston County to the late Robert Glenn Kelly, Sr. and Ona Ballard Kelly.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her sisters Delores "Monk" Campbell, Wanda "Quaka" Kelly, Joyce Doreen Kelly.

Brenda was a member of Goshen Free Will Baptist Church. She was an evangelist of Jesus Christ. Brenda always told everyone "Jesus Loves You".

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Rev. Ronald Dean Harrison, Sr.; children Ron Harrison, Jr. and wife Paula of Mt. Holly, Tonya Barker and husband Reggie of Iron Station, Scott Harrison of Belmont, Phillip Harrison and wife Nancy of Lincolnton, Felicia Scruggs and husband Jimmy of Gastonia; sister Trisha Kelly Boyles of Mt. Holly; brother Robert "Bo" Glenn Kelly, Jr. of Mt. Holly; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Brenda's life will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Goshen Free Will Baptist Church with Dr. Clayton E. Burch officiating.

Brenda's family will receive friends Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 pm prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont.
