Betty Ginn

Betty McKeown Ginn, 81, of Gastonia, passed away at Robin Johnson House on March 11, 2023. She was born January 12, 1942, in Rock Hill, SC, to the late Joe and Gracie Gray McKeown.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Ginn; brothers, Linwood McKeown, Glenn McKeown, Tommy McKeown; and sister, Jean Inman.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Billy Ginn (Tina), Lamar Ginn; brother, Danny McKeown (Carol), granddaughters, Danika Jakab (Dustin), Rebekah Kahley (Josh), Moriah Hutchison (Devin); Great grandchildren, Levi Jakab, Canaan Jakab, Blade Jakab, Eleanor Kahley, Charlotte Kahley, and Bexley Hutchison.

Betty attended East Church of God in Gastonia. She retired from Gaston Manor and was awarded the “Caregiver of the Year” in Gastonia for 2013.

Betty’s graveside service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Gaston Memorial Park, New Hope Road, with Rev. Billy Ginn officiating.
