Bertha Mcnichols

Bertha Kuykendall McNichols, 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday August 16, 2018 at Meadow Wood Nursing Center. She was born March 21, 1925 in Tennessee to the late William Byrd and Carrie Lovelace Kuykendall.

She was preceded in death by her husband Permley W. McNichols.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Patricia M. Daniels; granddaughter, Tisha Reed; great-grandchildren, Ashleigh and Brandon Reed, Blake Abernathy; sister, Lois Coble; brother, Louis Kuykendall.

Bertha was a member of Unity Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.

A Celebration of Bertha's life will be held at 2pm Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Unity Baptist Church, Gastonia with Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

Bertha's family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 prior to the service at the church.
