Barbara Kearney

Barbara Kay McFee Kearney, 66, of Dallas, passed away at Peak Resources, Gastonia on February 24, 2019. She was born October 30, 1952 in Gaston County to the late William Eugene and Lorene Ledford McFee.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter Wendy Kearney Tester and husband Alex of Hickory; son Jason Lee Kearney of Gastonia; brothers Ronnie Eugene McFee of Belmont and Robin Anthony McFee of Gastonia; grandsons Zachary Keith Osborne, Alexander Nolan Tester, William Gage Tester, Jaxson Lee Kearney.

Barbara was an owner of a bridal shop and a catering company. She loved cooking from memory and enjoyed entertaining. She always made everyone feel welcomed in her home. Barbara loved spending time with her family. She served her master and knew he was waiting for her in heaven. Barbara's last request was to extend an invitation to everyone to "please join me there".

Celebration of Barbara's life will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday February 28, 2019 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services.

Her family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
