Barbara Hill

Barbara Wood Hill, 78, of Gastonia, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born December 25, 1939 in Haywood County, NC daughter to the late Joseph and Nellie Frady Wood.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Milas and Carl Wood.

Barbara was retired from Pharr Yarns.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband William Gene Hill; daughter Judy (Kim); stepdaughter Tasha; brothers, Tommy, Wesley, and Hershel Wood; grandchildren Kimberly (Phillip) and Amanda (Alan); great grandchildren Alexis, Alyssa, Aleigha, Damein, Aiden; nieces Kitty, Renee, and Lisa.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 19, 2018 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

Her family will receive friends Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
