Ashley Phillips Broome, 49, of Dallas, NC, passed away on December 30, 2016. She was born on December 25, 1967, in Gaston County.

Ashley was a 1986 graduate of Hunter Huss High School and was employed by Bellsouth for over 10 years. She attended Firestone Wesleyan Church in Gastonia. Ashley was much loved by her family and will be greatly missed. She is now in the arms of Jesus.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her mother, Linda Cotnam Phillips Belt and husband, Bill of Dallas; her father, Mark A. "Tony" Phillips and wife Jodie of Cramerton; her grandmother, Stella Queen Cotnam of Dallas; her brother, Mark A."Tony" Phillips II of Dallas; stepsister, Shelly Moss and husband Gary of Shelbyville, TN; stepbrother, Scott Belt and wife Regina of Gastonia; fiancé, Warren Pruitt of Dallas; nieces, Kristen Phillips of Dallas, Brittany Poole of Gastonia, Haley Parker of Whitefish, Montana, and Lauren Belt of Gastonia; nephews, Jacob Phillips of Dallas and Seth Belt of Gastonia.

Ashley's funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Firestone Wesleyan Church in Gastonia with Rev. Don Avore and Pastor Tony Phillips officiating.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at the church.

Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia.
