Alta Hardin

Alta Mae Huffstetler Hardin, 74, of Kings Mountain passed away on August 4, 2016 at Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro, NC. She was born on May 30, 1942 in Gaston County, to the late Flay and Vergie Viola Dellinger Huffstetler.

She was retired from textiles and attended Cherokee Street Baptist Church, Kings Mountain.

Alta Mae is survived by her daughter Nancy Boone Landers; son Billy Odell Boone; stepson James Hardin; sisters Melvine Parton, Betty Jean Huskey and Brenda Irvin; brothers Floyd and Michael Eugene Huffstetler; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Special Friend Eddie Lowe.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Eugene Hardin, sons Billy Wray Boone, Jr. and Jason Shane Boone; daughter Terri Dawn Boone; sister Martha Young; brothers Ernest and Dennis Huffstetler.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Cherokee Street Baptist Church, Kings Mountain.
