Alma Freeman

Alma Ethelene Lanier Freeman, 92, passed away on Sunday November 12, 2017 at Alexandria Place, Gastonia. She was born February 24, 1925 in Gaston County, daughter to the late
Robert Lee and Elizabeth Blanche Hutchins Lanier.

Ethelene was a faithful member of Antioch Evangelical Lutheran Church and she worked at Wix Filters, Inc. for 43 years.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Judith Patterson; son, John H. Freeman, Jr., son, Jeffery Freeman; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Freeman, Sr.

Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Antioch Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dallas with Pastor Steven King officiating.

Interment will follow in Antioch Evangelical Lutheran Church Garden of Peace Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 prior to the service at the church.

Her family requests that any memorials be made to Antioch Evangelical Lutheran Church, Garden of Peace, 330 Old NC 277 Loop Road, Dallas, NC 28034.
