Alene Adams

Alene Falls Adams, 81, passed away peacefully at Peak Resources of Cherryville on Friday December 2, 2016. She was born on December 17, 1934 in Rockingham County to the late Dick Chambers and Ethel Lee Harmon Cole.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Suzanne Falls; husband Carl Franklin Falls, Sr.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Carlene Falls Shuford of Bessemer City; son, Carl Franklin Falls (Christine) of Grover, son, Michael David Adams (Lisa) of Dallas, NC; former husband, Judson David Adams of Kings Mountain; sisters by love and heart, Margie Cole Adams and Rebecca Cole; grandchildren, Lindsey Suzanne Shuford, Devan Scott Shuford (Jamie), Megan Hager Wilson (Deavin), Leanna Rene Hager, Kayla Renee Adams, Summer Michelle Adams, and Jacob Alexander Falls; great-grandchildren, Bentley James Shuford and Liam Parker Wilson; special family, Lester Scott Shuford and Ricky Scott Hager.

Alene was retired from Wix Corp. She loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. Always smiling and making people laugh until the end. She will be missed but pictures are memories we have forever. Thank you, mama, for teaching us all no matter how little we have, and to ALWAYS give something back to others, even if it was just a smile or kind word.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 am Monday, December 5, 2016 at Saint Andrews Episcopal Church, Bessemer City with the Rev. Connie Connelly officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:30am prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
